(EMAILWIRE.COM, December 10, 2018 ) Seven non-profits from Los Angeles and five from New York worked diligently to secure enough votes to be one of the recipients of the services and products that were to be awarded in LA Photo Partys annual contest.
In Los Angeles, the 1st place winner was Swim with Heart. This organization started only nine years ago. They help children and adults with special needs learn how to swim, be on a swim team, move on to a USA swim team, or continue the lifetime goal of fitness and exercise. In 2nd place was the Valley Family
Center and 3rd was Fairburn Avenue Elementary.
In New York, the 1st place winner was Childrens Aid. This organization helps children in poverty to succeed and thrive by providing comprehensive support to children and youth in NYC. Their services include academic and social-emotional learning. In 2nd place was the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and 3rd was The Lifted Project.
As one of five major vendors that provided products and services, Step and Repeat LA gave an 8 x 8 fabric backdrop, valued at $448, to each of the 1st place winners. These backdrops can be showcased at their facilities as well as at fundraising events.
