(EMAILWIRE.COM, November 25, 2018 ) The 21st Annual Arpa International Film Festival (Arpa IFF) took place from November 2 to 4 at Hollywoods historic Egyptian Theatre. The three-day event showcased 46 films from 17 countries. Every year Arpa IFF highlights a diverse range of films that have explored themes such as genocide, war, feminism, family dynamics, environmentalism, music, art, adoption, intersectional identities, and LGBTQ issues.

Honorees at this years festival included Academy Award nominated actor/producer Edward James Olmos for the Lifetime Achievement Award and Emmy Award winner and television legend Ed Asner who received the Icon Award.
